Modern and dynamic architecture welcomes exceptional interior design, where luxury and decoration are in perfect equilibrium.
We are in Chandigarh, India, in the heart of that Punjab capital originally entrusted to the design of Le Corbusier, who imagined here a city divided into sectors, rich in gardens and parks, with wide streets and modern buildings. Among the important traces left behind by the initial urban plan is notable architecture also dedicated to the residential sector. And among the latest achievements of the Projected Rays studio is this property of over 1600 square metres, in which each space is designed with extreme attention for the exterior and interior, from the materials chosen to the most minute grooving of a surface. This sumptuous yet elegantly ordered project finds in the FIMA tapware a complete proposal to finish the different bathrooms and large shower spaces with personality.
It is no coincidence that Chandigarh is home to FIMA INDIA, the branch dedicated entirely to the Indian and neighbouring markets, with an extensive sales network and a prestigious showroom for proposing Made in Italy products and the identity of FIMA, reflecting Indian tastes and canons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CURVED LINES AND LIGHT INSTALLATIONS TO STYLE THE SPACE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This exclusive residence offers a perfect mix of luxury and creativity that is difficult to describe in individual details but easy to grasp in its overall intent. All is harmonious and orderly, chosen and arranged with care in the space and in the close relationship with the surrounding elements. We work on the \u201cfull\u201d rather than on the \u201cempty\u201d but it is a refined abundance in which to immerse and identify in expressing a personal and well-defined style.
To tell the story of the project, we can choose two main elements, able to characterise the space entirely, underlining the expressive and artistic potential of the project. Both are united by a reflection on the heights that make the environments feel even larger and grander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first is the staircase, almost a sculptural work that connects the different floors and becomes the fulcrum of the entire building. Made of high-quality materials, the staircase is curvilinear, winding fluidly through space, creating a sense of movement that captures attention from every vantage point. The same soft and rounded lines are found several times in the home, in the furnishings but also in the same finishes and coatings. A curvilinear accent conveys a less rigid yet warmer and more welcoming modernity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second supporting element is the ceilings and their light installations. Not merely simple horizontal surfaces but false ceilings with well-defined volumes, often curvilinear, embellished by grazing lights and important chandeliers that descend from overhead like cascades of shimmering and bright glass. In this villa, the light fixtures are jewels that characterise the rooms and define the functional areas even more than the walls themselves. This is particularly because this is an open-plan project in which spaces flow into each other, favouring the feeling of spaciousness and defining a strongly contemporary way of living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE TEXTURE AND SO COLLECTIONS TO PERSONALISE BATHROOMS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe client wanted each space to stand out and have its own identity,\u201d says architect Rohan Jain of Projected Rays. Although the bathrooms follow these guidelines while maintaining some common features, including the large wellness areas and FIMA tapware. Then there are the materials that are always of value, such as the marbles and woods embellished with carvings and mouldings, which accompany complements and furnishings that are equally finely decorated.
The result is generous, well-equipped spaces where luxury and comfort strike the right balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is particularly the case in shower spaces<\/a><\/strong>, where great attention is paid to the choice of state-of-the-art solutions for water management. The search for functionality has been resolved by FIMA, both with the built-in mixing units and with the shower heads, often installed on the ceiling. It should be noted that these are not simple shower enclosures but, in particular for the sleeping area, veritable \u201crooms\u201d inside the bathroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the washbasin areas, the collection that best highlights the luxurious and multifaceted nature of the project is TEXTURE COLLECTION<\/a><\/strong>, a classic with a modern touch designed by Meneghello and Paolelli Associati. Texture changes the finishes in each environment, while allowing for further customisation by modifying the operating cover, which becomes white marble on a gold base in a light environment or total black chrome look to highlight dark details, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the bathrooms for the living area, we find a collection with an intriguing and lively design. This is SO<\/a><\/strong>, designed by Davide Vercelli, available here in a built-in version, with the elegant wooden control. Once again, a material detail chosen to customise the space, a constant that characterises the entire project of this exclusive villa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
