THEA is the new star of FIMA Carlo Frattini\u2019s Wellness catalogue, designed for an international market that pays attention to innovation and an idea of exclusive and material luxury. The project interprets the contemporary bathroom as an open design space, finding character and identity. The shower head is then distinguished by its large stone-effect surface and by the thin LED light ring that delineates its profile, to become a true architectural element capable of defining the shower space. At the heart of the design study is the use of a state of the art technical ceramic material that reproduces the aesthetics of natural stones but with superior performance and a more sustainable approach than the use of extracted and non-renewable materials.
The result is an object of design that combines precious qualities with the precision and durability of stainless steel, in a decorative project with a strong aesthetic impact. THEA comes from the creative vision of the Studio GIO FORMA, an international entity known for theatrical sets, major events and iconic architecture a design sensibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A STONE AND STAINLESS-STEEL EFFECT

The project reflects a precise vision of contemporary luxury: precious materials, refined surfaces and exclusive technical solutions to transform the shower into an immersive experience. The shower head is available in different design configurations, for ceiling or wall installation, with a 5 centimetre diameter arm to ensure structural and aesthetic balance to the product.

The arms are designed to integrate the hook-up to the water and the electricity necessary for the LED light. The polished or brushed steel structure can be produced in the galvanic and PVD finishes of the FIMA Wellness collections, adding to the purity of the stainless steel with the warmest and most precious shades, such as gold, champagne, amber bronze and mocha, or the depth of the timeless black chrome.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The stone effect disc is also available in different variants and veins from the simplest solutions such as travertine for elegant and bright atmospheres to the most sophisticated brown shades of Noir Desir for more impactful and decisive environments.

THEA\u2019s aesthetic concept stems from a precise idea: to camouflage the shower head by transforming it into a decorative element that dialogues with the architecture of the shower area. The protagonist is a 32 centimetre diameter disc with stone-effect surface, characterised by natural veins designed to conceal the water-dispensing nozzles. When the shower head is not in operation, the object appears as a large suspended elemental surface, intriguing and almost enigmatic in its function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The surface is actually made with thin technical ceramic slabs reinforced with fibreglass, an innovative material that faithfully reproduces the aesthetics of natural stones but with superior performance. This solution allows you to achieve an authentic material effect while maintaining fundamental characteristics for the bathroom environment, being lightness, strength, hygiene and ease of maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La struttura del soffione \u00e8 composta da tre elementi principali: braccio portante, corpo soffione in acciaio inox e disco ceramico decorativo. The structure of the shower head is made up of three main elements: a support arm, stainless-steel shower head body and decorative ceramic disc. The disc is a micro perforated structure affixed with a magnetic system that allows the element to be removed in the event of extraordinary maintenance.
The anti-limescale nozzles of the shower head reach the surface, interacting only minimally with the disc to help maintain the formal purity of the project and simplify everyday cleaning, exactly like a traditional shower head.<\/p>\n\n\n

Another distinctive element is the integrated LED light, a thin luminous blade running along the profile of the shower head. The light has a scenic function. It is not a primary source of lighting but a luminous accent that enhances the product and contributes to creating an enveloping atmosphere in the shower space.
