Solferino Lab, a design and wellness centre in Milan, will host a special meeting with Stefano Pediconi, artist, hotel stylist and architect.
It is common to think of environments in terms of functionality and design. It is more difficult to think in terms of the relationship between architecture, perception and wellbeing. Yet, even without being experts in neuroscience or the psychosomatics of space, we are all aware of how much the layout of the places where we live or work influences our quality of life and our daily energy levels.
These aspects take on even greater significance in hotels and wellness centres, to the extent that they can determine the success or failure of a business.
Colour, materials, sustainability and lighting thus become the tools of a design that puts people at the centre of everything, transforming space into an experience of balance and harmony.
