ITALIA GENIALE EXHIBITION PRESENTED IN LOS ANGELES

Created by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy and the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with ADI Design Museum, on the occasion of the Amerigo Vespucci world tour, the “ITALIA GENIALE design enables” exhibition was presented in Los Angeles by Deputy Minister Valentino Valentini.
The exhibition was created for the Los Angeles stage and will follow the “Villaggio Italia” to Tokyo, Darwin, Singapore, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Jeddah, Durazzo…
ITALIA GENIALE is a synthesis of Italy’s talent, creativity and technology. It is the best way to present our Made in Italy brand to the world, which is never static but a continuous search for excellence, combining innovation and tradition. A great opportunity to present our country, which aims at being increasingly attractive.
The exhibition embodies an extraordinary opportunity for global dialogue, comments ADI President Luciano Galimberti, it is a journey through the technological developments and relational skills typical of Italian design, a journey that metaphorically accompanies that of the Amerigo Vespucci ship, to promote the manufacturing excellence of our country.
The exhibition is divided into five thematic areas that group the objects into sections:
- Imagin-able: imagining, creating worlds, inventing stories and making them part of our identity.
- Work-able: objects that are functional as well as beautiful, products, services and systems that facilitate work.
- Relation-able: artefacts that support or empower relationships between people.
- Live-able: objects that are related to physical and mental integrity, focusing on the theme of caring for oneself and others.
- Move-able: objects that promote freedom of movement and doing so in a sustainable way, respecting oneself, others and the environment.
