INTEGRATED DESIGN: SYNERGY BETWEEN FUNCTIONALITY AND AESTHETICS

Considering architecture as an expression of design highlights the fundamental interconnection between these two disciplines. Separating them would be counterproductive if the goal is to create a harmonious building. Effective design requires close collaboration between architecture, design, and engineering. The event’s goal is to demonstrate how synergy between the various disciplines involved adds value to achieving architecture that is both functional and aesthetically refined. Case studies will be presented to support the theoretical theses proposed.
