INTEGRATED DESIGN: SYNERGY BETWEEN FUNCTIONALITY AND AESTHETICS

Considering architecture as an expression of design highlights the fundamental interconnection between these two disciplines. Effective design requires close collaboration between architecture, design and engineering. The aim of the seminar is to demonstrate how the synergy between the different disciplines involved represents an added value to obtain an architecture that is both functional and aesthetically refined.
