Burgundy Red and Sand Grey are the new finishes that FIMA has added to the OUTDOOR catalogue.
Firstly, both are combined with INGIRO, the collection of accessories and water dispensers designed by Lorenzo Damiani that require no installation. With this innovative potential, INGIRO is proving to be a versatile and easy-to-place product on the market and thus needs to be contextualised not only in minimal and elegant environments but also in spaces with a more traditional look or with a country chic flair. To this end we also have the more playful Agave Green and Indigo Blue versions, whilst the more classic Matt Black and Ivory White are now joined by two warm and enveloping shades, less bright but more tactile due to being inspired by warm and enveloping earth tones. Burgundy Red and Sand Grey finishes are also available for the SWITCH ON 316 collection. The washbasin mixer taps and shower recesses in the series, made entirely of 316L stainless steel like all of our outdoor items, encapsulate new expressive potential with the colours of 2024 and become fixed elements that can be easily combined with the Plug&Play dimension of INGIRO. The new FIMA palette is not intended to be cohesive with the MARMOREA shower, the most exclusive proposal in the OUTDOOR catalogue that already offers great visual impact thanks to the marble base and the unmistakable design of Davide Vercelli. Rather, the earthy finishes are found in the OUT.SIDE handles, giving an extra touch of originality to the freestanding showers in the collection, in the search for wellbeing with new possibilities for customisation.
SUSTAINABILITY ALSO PERMEATES THE NATURAL COLOURS AND FEELINGS OF WELLBEING
The FIMA company is intent on educating about sustainability through a variety of aspects.
In the first place, of course, there are low consumption products that lead to more conscious behaviour in terms of water savings. In this sense, FIMA’s proposals are always at the forefront, both in BATHROOM collections and in the OUTDOOR shower systems.
Combining a complete feeling of wellbeing with a product that focuses on saving water is an important message to educate and induce the user to make environmentally-responsible choices. But to become more aware of this, the image of the product must speak the same language thanks, for example, to the choice of stainless steel that is completely recyclable.
This is another reason to choose to expand the OUTDOOR finishes with just two natural shades, inspired by the colours of the surrounding environment and taken from the earthy palettes that are so trendy in interior design.
For indoor spaces, it is about recreating warmer and more reassuring environments by bringing elements and colours from nature into the home. Yet for outdoor spaces, this means creating a living continuity between indoor and outdoor, designed to suit the individual.
This is how the choice of Burgundy Red and Sand Grey came about. The first is an opaque colour, a deep red pigment that tends towards ochre with a hint of burnt brown. Not a bright colour but one rich in nuance and shaded areas, which speaks of warmth and authenticity and fits perfectly with the tactile nature of the wood.
Sand Grey, on the other hand, is a more neutral shade that is nonetheless warm and intense, with a hint of beige that recalls natural fabrics such as hemp and jute, making it suitable for welcoming and relaxing environments.
STECCO, FIMA'S NEW LIMITED EDITION OUTDOOR RANGE
The innovations of FIMA OUTDOOR 2024 presented at the Salone del Mobile continue.
And it is precisely the INGIRO collection, from which came the development of new finishes, which is enriched by an original and playful proposal, again the result of the creativity of Lorenzo Damiani.
STECCO is a new freestanding shower that can be positioned and moved as easily as any INGIRO accessory, taking water wherever you want. Here, no concrete base is needed since the STECCO is supported by two slender front legs whilst the elongated body touches the ground, like a new garden “pet”. Capable of being camouflaged by immersing into the surrounding environment, the new accessory inherits from INGIRO the on/off pedal system and the ease of installation. Not to mention the stainless steel and finishes, including those of the new 2024 palette.
Even the name of the STECCO is a nod to the animal world, underlining with vaguely anthropomorphic shapes the playful and extemporaneous nature of the proposal. This is why the product is numbered, made in a limited edition for the occasion of the Salone del Mobile. A new way to showcase the exclusivity of FIMA products.
