PRESIDENTIAL SUITE, THE WESTIN PALACE

A historic building in the beating heart of Milan’s design and fashion district, a stone’s throw from the Milano Centrale train station.
The Westin Palace, part of the Marriott International Group, is a recently-renovated luxury hotel that blends classical elements with contemporary design to offer a warmer and cosier yet still refined and exclusive atmosphere. If the restyling of the rooms and common areas reflects the evolution and dynamism of the city, it is the design of the Presidential Suite that renders The Westin’s hospitality style even more complete and distinctive.
An innovative concept encapsulated in a single environment.
The independence and discretion of a private residence, the personalised services of a prestigious hotel and a green space dedicated to personal wellbeing or to conviviality.
Indeed, this location has even been designed to host corporate events or private parties, in a particularly charming setting with views of the Milan skyline. The flat and large terrace serve this dual purpose with a strong Made-in-Italy imprint in which FIMA tapware is amongst the protagonists, offering collections dedicated to the bathroom environment together with outdoor spaces.

A PENTHOUSE WITH VERSATILE LIVING SPACES THAT ARE EASY TO RECONFIGURE

Between the eighth and ninth floors of The Westin Palace, the Presidential Suite is an elegant residence that interprets the most authentic Milanese style with a refined yet never ostentatious luxury.
The restyling by Studio Reveria focuses on the guest, making them feel more at home than in a hotel, favouring a private dimension even in the heart of a big city.
With an area of almost 200 square metres, the Suite is split over two levels, with the space doubled by the addition of a panoramic terrace. The interior-exterior relationship is crucial in the design, both in the organisation of the rooms and in the choice of materials and finishes. Natural light becomes an architectural feature thanks to the large, full-height windows.
Yet, it is the furnishings in particular that make possible the multiple uses of the living areas and advance the innovative concept behind the Suite.
To transform from a private nest to a location for exclusive events requires elements that are flexible, easily movable and already designed to accommodate various functions without foregoing elegance and usability. These facets find their best interpreters in Italian craftsmanship and design. The result is furniture that is often custom-made, with sinuous lines and natural textures that exalt the idea of easy living.
This means a dynamic and contemporary space, ready to take on different layouts, being easy to reconfigure and customise whenever needed. An aboslute must in the offer of The Westin Palace and for the Milanese scene in general.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN PRIVATE SPACES, ESPECIALLY IN THE BATHROOM

In the large double-height open space of the living area, the staircase is a trait of the character of the room, connecting the living spaces with the more intimate and private areas. This sculptural feature in white marble is embraced by a sturdy balustrade in die-cast glass that also continues along the inner balcony and accompanies you up to the mezzanine level.
This is where the master bedroom is located, in an exclusive space with a king-size bed and generous window that floods the room with natural light. The soft headboard of the bed, upholstered in shades of green, separates the sleeping area from a comfy lounge room with sofa and bar cabinet. This relaxation zone then leads to the prestigious master bathroom. Here, white marble with veins pulsating between orange and rust decorates the walls, the floor and even adorns the cabinet with double washbasin. The tapware features a support with three holes from the FIMA BATHROOM catalogue, with a round spout and handle with three-dimensional surface in an elegant polished-chrome finish.
This is the TEXTURE collection designed by Meneghello and Paolelli, an ideal proposal for the hospitality sector that combines minimal design with Art Deco accents.
TEXTURE offers multiple possibilities for customisation by alternating the machining of the controls, the available finishes and the tactile nature of the covers.
A perfect choice for an exclusive bathroom complemented by a private en suite spa and a separate Turkish bath.

GREEN FOR AN OASIS OF WELLBEING IN THE HEART OF THE CITY

The outdoor terrace of the Presidential Suite is an absolutely privileged setting that perfectly reflects the elegance of the interior, reinforcing the link between indoor and outdoor.
Green, which naturally characterises the planted walls of the rooftop, can be found in the interior details – in the green of the Verde Lepanto marble fireplace or set between the floorboards. Inserts and references exalt the unity of the design and the idea that even outdoor spaces can be experienced just like a home. Here, too, different functions are arranged. The area dedicated to socialising and conviviality has a refined dining area and a large, fully-equipped outdoor kitchen for catering, as the setting par excellence for events on the terrace.
A second area is dedicated to wellness, with a hot tub and shower en plein-air by FIMA.
OUT.SIDE is a free-standing stainless-steel shower column designed by Davide Vercelli for outdoor comfort. An understated and distinctive design with handles available in various finishes, from different colours to marble, to yet again underscore the elegance of FIMA designs, in every detail.
