SLIDE BECOMES A JEWEL WITH THE CAPSULE COLLECTION
A ritual of subtraction reveals the luminous essence of the metal. A coarse file marks the primary incision, while progressively finer files refine the surface and eliminate every imperfection. The final polishing with abrasives and polishing rubbers turns the cut into a flawless mirror — a blade of light that runs through the material in a continuous dialogue between shadow and reflection.
The design evokes the suggestion of a geometric fracture, first defined through the precise action of wheel burs. Files and burins then deepen and sculpt the shape by hand, softening its contours and giving it volume. The result is an organic, expressive crack—a poetic scar that makes every object unique.
A delicate botanical motif is engraved freehand directly onto the metal surface with traditional goldsmith’s burins. Every vein, groove, and variation in depth is shaped by the instinctive gesture of the artist. Layer upon layer, these engraved marks create a refined three-dimensional effect, infusing the leaf with lightness, movement, and a sense of natural vitality.
A slow, patient process of material removal reveals a distinctive three-dimensional pattern. Using traditional goldsmith’s burins and hand tools, the metal is meticulously carved into a constellation of irregular cavities. Each cell-shaped incision adds depth and movement, making every piece a unique expression of craftsmanship.
The metal surface is transformed under the skilled hand of the artist. Through a dense, rhythmic sequence of micro-engravings executed one by one with the burin, the material acquires a refined visual cadence. The result is a vibrant three-dimensional texture that captures light and scatters it into ever-changing reflections.
Shape emerges through the use of coarse goldsmith’s files that remove and mold the metal with strength and precision. Rather than being erased, the bold marks left by the tools are preserved and enhanced, becoming a visible record of the hand of the artist and giving the surface both a tactile character and intensity.
The metal becomes an interpretation of nature through a dense composition of foliage engraved entirely freehand with goldsmith’s burins. Each leaf is individually sculpted through a rhythmic succession of cuts that define its veins and volume. The layering of these finely executed marks creates an organic composition rich in detail, evoking the strength, harmony, and vitality of the natural world.
An exercise in absolute precision begins with hand engraving and the gradual removal of metal. The central cavity is carefully filed and polished to a flawless mirror finish, creating a luminous stage. Micro-drilled settings are then prepared to receive each diamond, positioned individually by hand. The result is a precious slit from which light naturally emerges.
